Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in professional liability cases, including cyber/data breaches and intellectual property issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies and negotiate settlements.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
  • Stay current with developments in professional liability law, cyber/data breaches, and intellectual property issues.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant legal experience in professional liability, cyber/data breach, or intellectual property law.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Proficient research skills to support case development and strategy.
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions, negotiations, and court appearances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced legal environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work product.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
