A law firm seeks an Elder Law Attorney in Marietta, GA. This role focuses on providing legal guidance and strategies to help families plan for the future, ensuring their needs are met with confidence and care.

Duties

• Conduct client meetings to assess estate planning, Medicaid, probate, and guardianship needs.
• Build strong, lasting relationships through thoughtful, compassionate interaction.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients and ensuring they understand their plans.
• Gather personal and financial information to craft customized plans.
• Ensure all work is completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Act as the primary legal point of contact for client questions.
• Maintain accurate updates in the CRM for all client communications.
• Follow up regularly with clients to maintain relationships.
• Manage caseload with minimal oversight and collaborate with the legal team.
• Provide excellent client experience through thorough and respectful interactions.

Requirements

• Attorney admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.
• Experience relevant to guardianships, estate planning, Medicaid, probate, or conservatorship is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong ethical standards and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn legal software or CRM systems.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Georgia Bar.
