Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Probate Attorney to join its growing legal team. This full-time role offers a blend of in-office and hybrid work arrangements, providing an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to focus primarily on probate law while working closely with senior attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in probate law, with the ability to handle cases from start to finish, while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee probate cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation for clients in probate-related matters.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and estate planning documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case strategies.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates and clear explanations of legal processes.
  • Draft legal correspondence, motions, and briefs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Georgia State Bar, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience, with a preference for those with probate law experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Must provide a current writing sample (preferably in letter form) upon request.
  • Spanish language proficiency is considered a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and drafting abilities.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for client communication.
  • Proficiency in legal software and technology for case tracking and document management.
