Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Elder Law Attorney in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will be client-focused and results-driven, providing thoughtful guidance and personalized strategies to help families navigate their legal options with confidence.

Duties

  • Conduct client meetings to assess needs related to estate planning, Medicaid, probate, and guardianship.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships through compassionate interactions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by educating clients and ensuring they understand their legal plans.
  • Collect detailed personal and financial information to design customized plans.
  • Ensure all work is completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Act as the primary legal point of contact for client questions.
  • Maintain accurate updates in the CRM for all client communications.
  • Follow up regularly with clients to ensure continued support.
  • Manage caseload with minimal oversight and collaborate with the legal team.
  • Provide excellent client experience through thorough and respectful interactions.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
  • Experience in guardianships, estate planning, Medicaid planning, probate, or conservatorship preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients professionally and empathetically.
  • Strong ethical standards and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to find mutual wins.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
