A law firm is seeking a Medicare Compliance Associate Attorney for their office in King of Prussia, PA.

Job Overview:

The Medicare Compliance Associate Attorney will primarily consult with employers, adjusters, and attorneys on Medicare issues about workers’ compensation cases and defense litigation. They will also educate clients on proper handling of Medicare set-asides and provide guidance on best practices and strategies for achieving desired case resolution results. Additionally, the associate attorney will perform conditional payment searches, prepare Medicare submissions for set aside approval, and draft Medicare language for settlement documents.

Duties:

  • Consult with employers, adjusters, and attorneys on Medicare issues related to workers’ compensation cases and defense litigation.
  • Educate clients on the proper handling of Medicare set-asides.
  • Guide attorneys on best practices and strategies for case resolution, including the use of structured settlements.
  • Perform conditional payment searches.
  • Prepare Medicare submissions for set-aside approval.
  • Draft Medicare language for settlement documents.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in relevant legal areas.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in the state of Pennsylvania.
