A law firm is seeking a Lateral Antitrust Associate Attorney for their Washington, D.C. office with responsibilities, requirements, education, certifications, and skills. The Lateral Antitrust Associate Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation, DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations, and criminal enforcement matters. The ideal candidate will possess substantive knowledge of antitrust law, experience working with enforcement agencies, strong writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation related to antitrust matters.
  • Conduct DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations.
  • Handle criminal enforcement matters related to antitrust law.
  • Provide legal analysis and strategic advice to clients on antitrust issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and management.
  • Maintain client relationships and provide high-quality legal services.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3-6 years of experience in antitrust law.
  • Experience working with enforcement agencies or prior DOJ/FTC government service.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Top academic credentials.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Substantive knowledge of antitrust law.
