Environmental, Health, and Safety Associate

Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking two Associate Attorneys with 3 to 6 years of experience to join its Environmental, Health & Safety practice. These positions involve advising clients on a broad spectrum of environmental matters, including enforcement defense, regulatory compliance, litigation, and due diligence in corporate transactions. Location:

• Atlanta, GA

Duties:

• Advise clients on environmental enforcement and compliance with federal and state regulations

• Represent clients in environmental litigation, including administrative and judicial proceedings

• Conduct environmental due diligence in connection with corporate transactions

• Provide guidance on a wide range of environmental statutes and regulatory frameworks

• Draft memoranda, regulatory filings, pleadings, and client advisories

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop legal strategies and solutions

Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in environmental law, including:

  • Enforcement actions

  • Regulatory compliance

  • Environmental litigation

  • Transactional due diligence

• Demonstrated interest in environmental, health, and safety legal issues

• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Excellent academic credentials preferred

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (Georgia or Washington, D.C.) required

• Additional bar admissions are advantageous
