Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of experience in Atlanta. This role involves representing and advising national and international insurers in complex insurance coverage cases across the United States, including matters such as pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, products liability, errors and omissions, and excess liability.

Duties

  • Develop litigation strategy for insurance coverage disputes and class-actions.
  • Conduct complex legal research and draft memoranda.
  • Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings and mediations.
  • Manage and supervise associates and paralegals.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice in all courts in New York; New Jersey preferred.
  • 7-12 years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
  • Experience with product liability policies.
  • State and federal court experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials and solid work history.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in New York; New Jersey preferred.
