A law firm is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Construction And Real Estate - Construction Transactions - Major Projects and EPC Contracts. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of transactional experience in energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects, including drafting and negotiating EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and a variety of other commercial contracting and project finance documents. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required. Job Overview:

  • Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and other commercial contracting and project finance documents.
  • Provide legal advice and support on energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to construction transactions and major projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and best practices in construction and real estate law.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and other commercial contracting and project finance documents.
  • Provide legal counsel and support on energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on construction transactions and major projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Manage and review legal documentation and correspondence related to construction and real estate transactions.
  • Assist with due diligence activities and project assessments.
  • Participate in client meetings and negotiations as required.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of transactional experience in construction and real estate law, preferably focusing on energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Iowa or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, and project finance structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education and Certifications:
