Job Duties:

• Attend daily court appearances at various courthouses.
• Handle cases including misdemeanors, felonies, and post-convictions.
• Visit clients in jail when necessary or required.
• Conduct jury trials.
• Engage in legal research and writing, including motion writing, blogs, and articles.
• Attend and conduct DMV-APS hearings.
• Perform case evaluation and strategic analysis.
• Conduct client consultations.
• Ensure compliance with all firm policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of Criminal Defense experience.
• Admitted to Practice Law in California.
• Client management and interaction skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Poised, polished, and professional demeanor.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Familiarity with DUI and vehicle-related crimes, including DMV-APS hearings.
• Outstanding work product.

• Tech-savvy and computer literate.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
