Duties:

  • Prepare case file documents and collaborate with the legal team to compile comprehensive trial briefs.
  • Draft and administer various legal documents, such as contracts, memos, and motions.
  • Review discovery documents and define the best course of action to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Attend hearings, court appearances, and case-related conferences, representing the firm in legal proceedings.
  • Maintain case files from opening to close, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized and accessible.
  • Consult with clients, providing expert legal guidance and presenting arguments effectively.
  • Utilize strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research and utilize legal software and tools for efficient document preparation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Current license to practice law in the state of California.
  • 3-8 years of related experience in legal practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and legal software tools.
  • Administrative and managerial experience preferred.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Current license to practice law in the state of California.
