Litigation Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of patent litigation experience to join their team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of patent litigation, from preparation to trial, and will work closely with witnesses and experts.

Duties

• Prepare and manage patent litigation matters through trial.
• Develop case strategy and oversee discovery processes.
• Collaborate with expert and fact witnesses.
• Analyze products and patents for infringement and invalidity.
• Conduct and defend depositions and witness examinations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and present court arguments.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts or Washington, DC.
• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience in district courts and/or before the ITC.
• Experience with patent infringement and validity analyses.
• Experience in drafting motions and briefs on patent issues.
• Experience in managing discovery aspects of litigation.
• Experience with depositions and working with witnesses is preferable.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in Massachusetts or Washington, DC.
