Labor and Employment Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a California-licensed Labor and Employment Associate with 3-6 years of experience for its Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will have experience in single-plaintiff employment litigation and class action/PAGA cases.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions; conduct administrative hearings.
• Draft workplace policies and conduct employee trainings.
• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to employers.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in employment law.
• Experience in litigation, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent work ethic.
• Strong writing, communication, and research skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
