Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Junior Foreclosure Attorney to assist in managing foreclosure actions from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload, providing legal analysis, and strategy recommendations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties:

  • Provide status updates, legal analysis, and strategy recommendations to clients
  • Handle a large caseload, managing all aspects of matters under senior attorney supervision
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of conditions precedent to foreclosure actions
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence related to foreclosure proceedings
  • Update internal systems with findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements
  • Participate in court conferences, mediation, and motion practice
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to represent clients effectively
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Demonstrate meticulous analytical skills for identifying corrective actions and making recommendations

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the New York State Bar
  • Basic understanding of Quality Assurance/Quality Control principles preferred
