Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in Denver, CO, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing substantive legal work, including preparing pleadings and briefs, as well as actively participating in discovery. They will work directly with Partners and a Senior Associate, receiving additional training and mentorship.

Duties:

• Perform substantive legal work related to litigation cases.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Actively participate in the discovery process.
• Collaborate with Partners and a Senior Associate on case strategy and implementation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.
• Assist in client meetings and court appearances.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in litigation.
• Currently licensed to practice law in Colorado.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.

• Proficiency in legal software and technology.
