Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 5-20 years of experience in civil litigation. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in general civil litigation and courtroom experience. They must possess outstanding writing and verbal skills, provide excellent customer service, and demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse civil litigation cases. Active admission to the Colorado Bar is required, along with exceptional attention to detail in legal work.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of civil litigation cases, including but not limited to general civil disputes, contract disputes, tort claims, and more.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Manage and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counseling to clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
• Keep abreast of legal developments and changes in civil litigation laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and professional guidelines.

Requirements:

• Active admission to the Colorado Bar.
• 5-20 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in Colorado.
• Strong background in general civil litigation with courtroom experience.
• Proven track record of handling diverse civil litigation cases.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in legal work.
