The attorney must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and possess at least 2-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in litigating workers' compensation claims before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.

Duties:

  • Represent the interests of primarily government clients in trials, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Gather and review medical records pertinent to workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct depositions of medical experts.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to workers' compensation cases.
  • Communicate effectively with claims representatives and other relevant parties.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding workers' compensation matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
  • 2-5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on workers compensation.
  • Proven experience litigating workers' compensation claims before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.
  • Strong knowledge of Illinois worker's compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:
