A law firm in Omaha is seeking a Litigation Family Law Attorney with 3-6 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will proactively manage family law cases from beginning to end, providing superior customer service to clients, making improvement recommendations to practice managers, and managing performance metrics through practice quality software. The candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited university, passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt, have 1st chair family law experience, and be licensed to practice law in the state of NE. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software.

 

Duties:

  • Manage family law cases from initiation through resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, including regular status reports and case reviews.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to practice managers.
  • Utilize practice quality software to track accomplishments and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case strategy and execution.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
  • Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
  • 3-6 years of litigation experience.
  • 1st chair family law experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of NE.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited university.
  • Admission to the NE Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
