Professional Liability Associate Attorney

A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is actively seeking a Professional Liability Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of legal experience. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced trial lawyers, preparing cases for trial, and will primarily focus on defending individuals, cities, municipalities, and general public and private entities in civil rights and employment litigation. Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills are highly valued in this role.

Job Details:

• Work alongside experienced trial lawyers preparing cases for trial.
• Defend individuals, cities, municipalities, and general public and private entities in civil rights and employment litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex professional liability issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients involved in professional liability cases.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and conferences related to professional liability cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Stay informed about changes in professional liability laws and regulations.
• Assist in developing case strategies and legal arguments specific to professional liability litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience.
