Duties

  • Handle all phases of employment law litigation, including:

    • Written discovery and ESI

    • Party and non-party depositions

    • Expert discovery

    • Third-party discovery

  • Contribute to trial preparation and strategic case development

  • Make strategic and tactical decisions as experience grows

  • Collaborate closely with highly skilled support staff for administrative case support

  • Participate in firm-wide collaboration and brainstorming for case development

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law litigation

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment

  • Experience in fast-paced litigation environments

  • Strong ownership mindset and personal work ethic

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and good standing with the California State Bar
