Duties:

• Represent clients in a wide range of employment-related litigation matters, such as wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and PAGA claims.
• Draft, file, and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Take and defend depositions, conduct court hearings, and participate in settlement negotiations.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assist in trial preparation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice throughout litigation.
• Stay up to date on current legal trends and changes within employment law and civil litigation.
• Represent clients in trials, both bench and jury, demonstrating courtroom proficiency.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on employment law.
• Proven experience handling employment-related disputes, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, and discrimination cases.
• Ability to independently manage cases from inception to resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Demonstrated ability to take depositions, manage discovery, and represent clients in court.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
