Job Overview:
A respected New Hampshire-based law firm is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of four years’ experience to join its Business Practice Group. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a motivated legal professional to work on a wide range of transactional matters while engaging in a collaborative and intellectually curious environment. Location:

  • Dover, New Hampshire

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on a range of transactional and business matters

  • Advise on corporate governance, entity formation, and compliance

  • Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending, and real estate transactions

  • Draft and negotiate business and municipal contracts

  • Support municipal entities with regulatory, policy, and transactional needs

  • Manage client relationships and assist in business development

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments on complex matters

  • Pursue opportunities to build a legal practice in areas of professional interest

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing in business, transactional, or real estate law

  • Proven track record managing deals and providing strategic counsel

  • Background in general corporate law, M&A, real estate, lending, or municipal law preferred

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-driven environment

  • Strong desire to take on a leadership role within the practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)

Skills:
