This firm has the reputation as a top choice of clients who have the most difficult, challenging, must-win litigation. No one is hired or retained unless he or she is expected to become a partner. The low partner to associate ratio allows associates to take on substantial responsibilities right away, to work with partners directly and informally, and to enjoy client contact at an early stage. This firms general business practice includes all areas of trial and appellate work in state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as matters involving corporate transactions, employee benefits, environmental, labor and employment, real estate and trusts and estates matters. The firm's clients conduct their business throughout the Midwest, the rest of the country, and throughout the world.
