Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, seeks a Senior Attorney to join their team. The Senior Attorney will primarily handle civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, focusing on providing excellent client service and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court is preferred.
• Candidates with experience handling multi-district litigation are a plus.
• Trial experience is highly desirable.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (Delaware preferred).

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar Association in Delaware (or willingness to become admitted).
