Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience

Tampa office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney, preferably with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The candidate will represent clients in collection and impound cases. Will prepare legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and pleadings. Draft correspondence to opposing counsel. Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and Court personnel. Conduct settlement negotiations. Must be a Member in good standing of Florida Bar for a minimum of 3 years. Experience in taking depositions and attending hearings is required. Experience with trials, including small claims, is needed. Provides exceptional client service. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate. The ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads is required. Must have demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone). Must be analytical and detail-oriented while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills are needed.
