Requirements:

  • Completion of a judicial clerkship for a bankruptcy judge or at least 1 year of relevant law firm experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in due diligence, UCC, debtor/creditor work, secured transactions, and broader bankruptcy cases.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Prior clerkship experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar in Arizona.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of commercial loans and lending transactions.
  • Proficient in conducting due diligence and handling UCC matters.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Negotiation and documentation skills in sophisticated lending transactions.
