Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research related to discovery matters and provide insightful analysis.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Develop and implement effective discovery strategies in collaboration with litigation teams.
  • Engage in discovery motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions related to discovery disputes.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to facilitate efficient and cost-effective discovery processes.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed California attorney in good standing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the litigation life-cycle, with a focus on discovery processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of discovery rules and procedures.
  • Familiarity with e-discovery best practices and proficiency in document review platforms like Everlaw, Disco, and Relativity.
  • Excellent research, writing, communication, and organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California.
