Global Asset Manager Regulation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, is seeking a knowledgeable Global Asset Manager Regulation Associate Attorney with 18 years of asset management regulatory experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of federal securities laws, particularly the Investment Advisers Act. Experience in large law firms, or a combination of law firms and in-house or regulatory agencies, is required. Additional experience in advising clients on cross-border regulatory matters and diverse product lines is considered a plus.
 
Duties:
• Providing knowledge and guidance on the Investment Advisers Act.
• Utilizing experience gained from large law firms, in-house, or regulatory agency roles.
• Advising clients on cross-border regulatory matters (a plus).
• Advising clients with diverse product lines (a plus).
 
Requirements:
• 18 years of asset management regulatory experience.
• Strong understanding of federal securities laws, particularly the Investment Advisers Act.
• Large law firm experience or a combination of law firm and in-house or regulatory agency experience.
• Experience advising clients on cross-border regulatory matters (a plus).
• Experience advising clients with diverse product lines (a plus).
 
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
 
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in asset management or securities law (preferred).
 
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act.
• Strong asset management regulatory experience.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
