Guardianship Attorney

A law firm located in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Guardianship Attorney to assist the senior attorney in reviewing petitions. The ideal candidate will possess an active Bar membership, strong communication and negotiation skills, exceptional research and analytical abilities, and demonstrate compassion when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.

Duties:

• Assist the senior attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to guardianship matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Represent clients in guardianship proceedings and hearings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on guardianship issues.
• Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and pleadings.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the Bar of the state of Florida.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Proven experience in guardianship law.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional research and analytical abilities.
• Compassionate and understanding demeanor when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Bar of the state of Florida.
