The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation, including case pleadings, discovery, motions, and appearances at hearings, mediations, conferences, depositions, and non-jury trials. The Litigation Attorney will collaborate with the paralegal, providing clients with updates and managing a diverse caseload. Job Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and approve all case pleadings.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including filing pleadings, discovery, and motions.
  • Attend motion calendar hearings, mediations, conciliation conferences, depositions, and non-jury trials.
  • Work with the paralegal to provide clients with regular updates.
  • Undertake other duties and special litigation projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate degree.
  • Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
  • Demonstrated a sense of urgency and diligence in work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance.
  • Critical "out of the box" thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Management and prioritization skills for handling a large caseload.
  • Excellent organizational skills, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
