Associate Attorney needed for Fort Lauderdale office

A law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters and assist in providing comprehensive legal services to clients.

Job Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist with case management and preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend court proceedings and represent clients in hearings under attorney supervision.
• Review and analyze discovery materials and assist in the preparation of responses.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission via examination or reciprocity.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
