A law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Senior Level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity transactions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility.
  • Gain experience as a responsible attorney on M&A transactions.
  • Collaborate across practice groups and across offices.
  • Engage in business development activities.
  • Work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of an AM Law 200 firm.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
  • Interact directly with clients, showcasing expertise in private equity transactions.
  • Excel in a team environment and collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Be highly motivated and a self-starter, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Possesses strong business acumen.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business.
  • Licensed to practice since 2020 or earlier.
  • Excellent law school and undergraduate credentials and references.
  • Law firm experience with private equity transactions.
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in business.
  • Law degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law since 2020 or earlier.
