Environmental Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Saratoga Springs, NY, is seeking an experienced Environmental Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of practice in litigation and/or regulatory matters related to federal and state environmental laws. Duties:

• Handle litigation and regulatory matters involving federal and state environmental laws.
• Provide legal counsel on environmental permitting, renewable energy development, and contaminated properties.
• Conduct environmental due diligence and assess associated legal implications.
• Represent clients in environmental enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with clients to address their specific legal needs in the environmental law domain.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in environmental law practice.
• Strong background in litigation and/or regulatory matters.
• Expertise in federal and state environmental laws, environmental permitting, renewable energy development, environmental due diligence, and contaminated properties.
• Excellent academic credentials with prior environmental law experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New York Bar or Washington, D.C. license.
