Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a Finance and Restructuring Litigation Associate to join its Finance & Restructuring practice group. This role involves handling complex financial transactions, corporate debt restructurings, and related litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and experience within an Am-Law 100 firm.

Location:

  • Princeton, NJ

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on financial and restructuring litigation matters

  • Manage cases involving corporate debt restructuring and financial disputes

  • Draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings with high attention to detail

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance and restructuring cases

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations

  • Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to develop strategic solutions

  • Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to finance and restructuring

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience within an Am-Law 100 firm

  • Strong background in finance and restructuring litigation

  • Excellent writing skills and keen attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work under tight deadlines

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in at least one jurisdiction where the firm operates

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills

  • Strong oral and written communication abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Effective negotiation and litigation strategy development

  • Proficiency in legal software and case management tools
