Associate Attorney needed for Abington office

Job Overview: A law firm in Abington, PA, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in general liability matters to join their team. Duties:

• Handle general liability matters, including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, class action litigation, and insurance coverage.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings as necessary.
• Assist senior attorneys with case management and strategy development.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Preferred: License to practice law in New Jersey.
• 3 years of experience with general liability matters; 7 years preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Preferred: License to practice law in New Jersey.
