A law firm in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an Employment Law Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of employment law experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in auditing and drafting employment policies and agreements, defending employers in employment disputes, and representing employers in trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and unfair competition claims. Exposure to traditional labor law is a plus. The candidate must be admitted to the Oklahoma Bar or currently licensed in another jurisdiction, with excellent academic credentials and strong written and oral communication skills.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various employment law matters.
  • Audit and draft employment policies, agreements, and contracts.
  • Defend employers in a wide range of employment disputes.
  • Represent employers in prosecuting and defending trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and unfair competition claims.
  • Offer advice on labor law issues, including traditional labor law concerns.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and due diligence to support client cases.
  • Prepare for and participate in all phases of employment law cases, from discovery to resolution.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in employment law.
  • Admission to the Oklahoma Bar or current licensing in another jurisdiction.
  • Proficiency in auditing and drafting employment policies and agreements.
  • Experience in defending employers in employment disputes.
  • Capability to represent employers in trade secret, restrictive covenant, and unfair competition claims.
  • Exposure to traditional labor law is a preferred qualification.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
