Senior Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience, preferably in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil litigation, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and preparing for trial. Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Take and defend expert and witness depositions

• Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents for complex cases

• Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties

• Develop and maintain client relationships through oral and written communication

• Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists

Requirements:

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, products liability, and general negligence (Preferred)

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school (Required)

• Licensed and in good standing in California (Required)

• Self-motivated and high-energy individual, capable of meeting deadlines (Required)

• Experience working in a billable work environment (Required)

• Superior written and oral communication skills with a high level of attention to detail (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California (Required)

Skills:

• Civil litigation (personal injury, products liability, general negligence)

• Legal research and writing
