Job Overview:
A leading U.S.-based law firm is seeking a highly experienced Of Counsel attorney to join its litigation team, with a specialized focus on pharmaceutical and medical device product liability matters. This position emphasizes Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice and involves supervising associates, collaborating with experts, and contributing to litigation strategy in complex, high-stakes cases. The role is offered on a hybrid basis in multiple major U.S. markets.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Review and draft discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda

• Lead Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice

• Manage communication with clients and expert witnesses

• Supervise and mentor associates involved in litigation matters

• Assist in fact development and deposition preparation

• Contribute to development and execution of case strategy

• Deliver timely and accurate legal work product

• Participate in virtual and in-person meetings and litigation activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in complex litigation

• Experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly reputable law firm preferred

• Substantial experience in Daubert and Rule 702 motions

• Background in product liability litigation required

• Experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of application

• Admission to the New York Bar is strongly encouraged
