Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney

A law firm located in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional academic credentials, relevant law firm or government experience, and strong communication skills.

Job Overview:

• The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of antitrust matters, including litigation and merger investigations.

• The candidate must be in good standing with the D.C. Bar, or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar shortly after joining the Firm.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, for antitrust litigation matters.
• Assist with merger investigations, including preparing filings and responding to government inquiries.
• Represent clients in antitrust-related proceedings before regulatory agencies and in court.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of antitrust experience, preferably including both antitrust litigation and merger investigations.
• Comparable law firm or government experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be in good standing with the D.C. Bar, or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar shortly after joining the Firm.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the D.C. Bar, or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience:

4-6 years of antitrust experience, preferably including both antitrust litigation and merger investigations.
