Commercial Litigator/Associate Attorney

A law firm seeking a Commercial Litigator/Associate Attorney in Jacksonville, FL. The Commercial Litigator/Associate Attorney will handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, representing clients in various industries. The role requires strong advocacy skills, legal expertise, and the ability to manage complex legal issues efficiently.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property disputes, and other commercial disputes.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on legal matters related to commercial litigation.

Requirements:

• Bar admission preferred, with eligibility for admission to the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong litigation skills, including legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Bar admission preferred, with eligibility for admission to the Florida Bar.
