Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

  • Advise clients on matters specific to the assigned practice area(s)

  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, closing papers, and other instruments

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various subject matter issues

  • Maintain regular communication and provide counsel to clients

  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff

  • Travel to regional office locations as required for client matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience (other experience levels may be considered)

  • Proven background in one or more of the following:

    • Litigation

    • Labor and employment law

    • Business and corporate law

    • Trusts and estates

    • Real estate law

    • General legal practice

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced setting

  • Client-focused mindset with professional demeanor

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal research tools

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation
