A law firm in Charlotte, NC is seeking a talented Products Liability Attorney to join its active and dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, with a strong emphasis on producing high-quality written work. This role offers autonomy in handling assigned cases while also benefiting from the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators within the firm.

 

Duties:

  • Work on all aspects of litigation in multiple jurisdictions, including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial.
  • Handle assigned cases independently while collaborating with a team of experienced litigators.
  • Draft persuasive briefs and memoranda for state and/or federal courts.
  • Utilize technology proficiently to ensure quick turnaround on written work.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Proven experience in writing briefs and memoranda for state and/or federal courts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Tech-savvy with expertise in using technology for legal research and document production.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on producing high-quality legal documents.
  • Strong oral communication skills for interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Legal research and analysis proficiency.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic litigation environment.
