Associate Attorney (Business and Employment Litigation)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for its Business and Employment Litigation Practice Group in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in business and/or employment litigation, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Duties

• Handle employment litigation matters, including individual, class, and PAGA cases.
• Engage extensively with client representatives and opposing counsel.
• Assist with workplace investigations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft pleadings and motions, including dispositive motions.
• Draft and respond to discovery and correspondence.

Requirements

• Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in employment or business litigation.
• Wage and hour class action/PAGA experience highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
