Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Law Senior Attorney with over 8 years of experience in the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) for their San Diego, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation and defense, with a focus on PAGA and class action compliance.

Duties

• Manage and oversee PAGA claims, including strategic development and legal filings.
• Provide counsel on compliance with California labor laws and conduct audits.
• Foster and expand client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff on PAGA-related matters.

Requirements

• Established background in employment litigation and defense.
• Significant expertise in PAGA, class action, and compliance matters.
• Jury trial or civil court trial experience preferred.
• Experience with public entity defense is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees.

Certifications

• Member, State Bar of California in good standing.
