Duties:

  • Collaborate with partners and associates on transactional and litigation matters in construction law
  • Conduct due diligence, research, and writing tasks
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating construction agreements, development agreements, and design agreements
  • Contribute to the coordination and execution of complex transactional matters related to development and construction
  • Aid in handling construction-related disputes, including defects and delays, in arbitration and litigation
  • Provide general support to the practice as needed

Requirements:

  • Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads and prioritize effectively

  • 1-3 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • 1-3 years of legal experience
  • Previous law firm experience preferred
  • Construction experience is a plus
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and be in good standing

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri
