A law firm is seeking an eDiscovery Attorney to join their team in New York City, NY.

Job Overview:

The eDiscovery Attorney will manage eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations. They will advise legal, compliance, and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies while ensuring compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a JD degree, admission to the Bar (any state), and at least five years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations.

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations.
  • Utilize eDiscovery review platforms, including Relativity, Recommind, and other analytics tools.
  • Handle data processing and document processing.
  • Advise legal, compliance, and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies
  • Work with eDiscovery processes and current & evolving eDiscovery technologies
  • Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence
  • Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, and review workflows

Requirements:

  • JD degree
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)
  • Ideally, 5 years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations
  • Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and jurisprudence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of eDiscovery practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to proactively identify continuous improvements in policies and processes

Education & Certifications:

  • JD degree
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)

Skills:

  • Familiarity with eDiscovery review platforms such as Relativity and Recommend
  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery processes and technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
