A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with the following job details:

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of litigation experience, specifically in insurance coverage matters, and thrive in a dynamic legal environment.

Job Duties:

• Attend court hearings on behalf of clients
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies
• Draft discovery requests and respond to discovery requests from opposing parties
• Summarize discovery responses for case preparation
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft motions and other legal documents as needed

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney in the state of Illinois
• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on insurance coverage
• Commitment to continual learning and professional growth
• Ability to make a meaningful impact within the firm
• Demonstrated track record of exceptional client service
• Proficiency in taking and defending depositions
• Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar
