Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Orange, CA is seeking a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney to manage their caseload, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure the provision of quality legal defense services. Duties:

• Manage and handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on workers' compensation matters.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute to the development of case theories.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and eligibility to practice law in California.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing workers' compensation defense law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
