Job Overview: The Senior Real Estate Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance on commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on retail and office leasing. This role requires a proactive and client-service-oriented individual with strong communication and time management skills.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial real estate transactions, including leasing agreements, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents about real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal developments related to real estate law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the next Bar exam.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Experience working for a mid to large law firm is preferred.
  • Strong academic record demonstrating excellence in relevant coursework.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and contracts.
