Job Overview: A law firm in Tampa, FL, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced legal professional to join as a Partner in the Real Estate practice area. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading and expanding the firm's real estate practice while contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Real Estate practice area, providing strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Handle a diverse range of real estate matters, including transactions, acquisitions, leasing, and development projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with other partners and attorneys to enhance cross-practice collaboration and deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  • Actively participate in business development activities, including networking, client presentations, and proposal development.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
  • Proven track record of success in the Real Estate practice area with relevant legal experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team of attorneys and support staff.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and innovative approach to legal practice.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar Certification in Real Estate Law (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of real estate law and related regulations.
  • Exceptional negotiation and legal drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
